God, tonight we come asking for your help once more.
We ask that you help us to lay down the worries of this day—all the ways we’ve fallen short. All the disappointments. All the frustrations. All the fears.
Those things we continue to circle, wondering how best to handle them…God, we bring them to you. We bring all of it, and we put it down at your feet.
We come boldly before your throne just as you’ve told us in scripture to do. And we come handing you our mess and seeking your redemption. We come handing you our weariness and seeking your strength. We come handing you our worries and seeking your peace.
God, please draw near to us now. Please help us to leave this day behind and to rest fully in you tonight. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
